OVERVIEW

We are proud to collaborate with Professor Dr. Muhamad Rahimi Osman, Honorary Professor at the Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies (ACIS), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), as our Shariah Advisor. He is a leading authority in Islamic banking, finance, and Shariah governance, with a career spanning over three decades in academia, research, and advisory roles. He holds a Ph.D. in Islamic Banking from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), a Master’s in Islamic Economics from the University of Yarmouk, Jordan, and a Bachelor’s in Shariah from the University of Malaya.

EXPERIENCE

Professor Rahimi has held key leadership positions, including Professor and Dean at ACIS UiTM and Director of the Centre for Islamic Thought and Understanding (CITU). He is a registered Shariah Adviser with the Securities Commission Malaysia and serves as Shariah Adviser to various financial institutions, including Alliance Islamic Bank, AIA Public Takaful, and Phillip Capital Sdn Bhd. He has also served as Chairman of the Shariah Committee for Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Berhad.
